This animated half-hour kiddie’s show from Filmation, aimed on Saturday mornings, depicted painfully shy and fumbling comedian Jerry Lewis working for Mr. Blunderbuss at the OddJob Employment Agency. Each week Mr. Blunderbuss sends Jerry out on a new job, and each week Jerry finds anew way to screw up. Many of the comic movie characters created by and made famous by Lewis are featured in the ABC series and are based on characters from the 1965 film The Family Jewels, and styled in a fashion similar to Archie's TV Funnies and the Groovie Goolies.
