Description: Original Print HOME BUILDERS #655 Gutman & Gutmann Bessie Pease 1917 Click images to enlarge Description This is a wonderful vintage print of a young couple gazing at a couple of birds making their nest; their home. It is by artist Bessie Pease Gutmann (1876-1960). This is an original print as can be verified by the impression left on it by the printing plate. At the bottom center is the title "Home Builders." At the lower left is "655 © Gutmann & Gutmann, N.Y." Most Gutmann & Gutmann prints were given a stock number, this one being 655. It has an indented matting and a lovely art nouveau wood frame. It is in a dark wood frame with older glass, a dust cover, and a wire for hanging. Size: The frame measures approximately 19 1/4" tall and 15 1/4" wide. Condition: There is no water damage to the print or foxing. It's in excellent condition. There is a little black spot on the top right, I have zoomed in on this.
