Description: ABOUT THE ARTIST: Kulik Ivan Onisimovich – was born on the 30th of April, 1923 in Morintsy village, Cherkasy region. He studied at the Kyiv School of Applied Arts and Kyiv Art Institute. Mentors: Yablonska T., Trokhimenko K., Ivanov M. Worked in the easel painting industry. Since 1958 he participated in republican exhibitions. During the 60s a series of solo exhibitions took place in Ivano-Frankivsk, Morintsy, and Cherkassy. Major works: "Yesterday`s Tenth Grade" (1957); "The Village of Morintsy" (1961); "Reaping" (1968) and others. The Artist died on the 4th of April, 1995.
