As far as the province of it, my great aunt was with her husband stationed in Germany and per my mother, the painting was purchased in Garmisch during their military stay. The painting hung on the wall in her living room in Clearwater Florida for at least 50 years. She passed away in her 90's. My Great Aunt Mae gave the painting to my mother who then gave it to me. No flaws. Excellent condition. The dimensions of the entire frame are 36 1/2" by 28 1/2". The dimensions of the canvas itself are 31 1/2" by 24".
