Description: Original 1981 Oil on Board Painting by Bryan Wyndham Westwood Listed Australian Artist. Found painting that was sold in Seattle at the now closed and famous frame and art shop Denman Associates on 5th avenue. Was never listed in his biography . Titled Joan in Bed and dated 1981. Not signed on the painting but signed by the artist and titled on back of protective matting done by the co founder of Arttech in Seattle. Board measures 17 7/8 x 17 7/8 inches Matting measures 26 1/2 x 28 1/2 inches. Deep cut and professional made matting. Condition: Scuffing to corners which I took photographs. Had plexiglass but took apart looking for signatures. Needs a top matting and frame. Shipping flat. I have numerous experiences shipping to Australia which will not be a problem. Tracking and insurance included. Bryan Westwood (1930 – 13 April 2000) was an Australian artist who won the Archibald Prize twice, once for a portrait of Australian Prime Minister Paul Keating. He was born in Lima in Peru. His first commercial exhibition was in 1969.[1] He won the 1989 Archibald Prize with Portrait of Elywn Lynn, and won the 1992 Archibald Prize with Portrait of Paul Keating PM.
