Description: This lot includes two original vintage 1962 Tammy dolls, a black vinyl carrying/storage case, and a total of 48 pieces of clothing and accessories. The dolls measure 12" Tall by 3 1/4" wide. They are both marked on the back of their heads and backs with "Ideal Toy Corp BS-12". One doll has a "1" beneath the BS-12 on her back and the other has a "2" meaning first and second production issues in 1962. One doll has a short honey blonde bob haircut. The other doll has shoulder length wavy platinum colored hair. The hair is rooted and is in great condition and not matted. The bob style hair is a bit frizzy on the ends. Both have side-looking blue eyes and red lips. They have moveable arms and legs. The heads & arms are made of softer vinyl and the bodies & legs are harder hollow plastic. The 48 pieces of clothing and accessories include a variety of fashionable pieces typical of the 1960s, all in great condition. Included in this lot is 32 pieces of clothing, some with the Tammy label inside made in Japan. The clothing without a Tammy label was made by 3rd party manufacturers but fit the dolls. Her original blue & white one piece shorts jumper is in the lot. There are 16 accessory pieces including a portable TV, red rotary Princess phone, ice skates, eyeglasses, the original pamphlet and many more items. The black vinyl carrying case is in amazing condition, with no damage just very minor wear. It measures 13" long, 9 3/4" wide and is 2 3/4" thick. It has a black handle on top, fold-over clip latch on the side and a storage compartment inside for smaller accessories. This fun lot is perfect for any Tammy doll collector, vintage doll enthusiast or is still perfect for a little girl to play with. All the pieces are in beautiful condition with no damage at all.
