Description: ORIGINAL 1962 DARTMOUTH WINTER CARNIVAL POSTER - 2nd VARIATION This is a great piece. I recently acquired a collection of original Dartmouth College Winter Carnival posters from 1958-1962. I was going to hold off to offer them but thought I would do it now, because they would make incredible gifts for any Dartmouth alumni. I am offering all of them this week. This is a wonderful original 1962 example. From my research I have learned that this is the second variation of the poster - and the most rare. Poster measures 24 x 18 inches and is in very good condition. There are pinholes in each of the corners. Lower left corner shows a couple of other very small scuffs as well. Stunning with very little wrinkling or creases. These posters were photographed behind clear wrap so some of the pictures have a little bit of glare that is not part of the poster - this one shows a little glare along the top edge that makes it look like it is a different color, IT IS NOT - that is not on the poster. There is also a glare at the tip of one of the skis and a few other spots. This is really a stunning example of this rare poster. Not laid down on anything. 100% GUARANTEED AUTHENTIC ORIGINAL!!!
