Description: Great original 1886 "La Francaise du Siecle ~ Modes Moeurs Usages by Octave Uzanne with colored illustrations after Albert Lynch engraved by Eugene Gaujean with protective sleeve with silk ribbons. The book is very nice and printed on quality paper. The protective sleeve portfolio has splits along the joints and the ribbon has breaks at the folds. The cover measures approx. 11" x 7 1/2" and the book measures 10 1/2" x 7 1/4" x 1 3/8" thick. The book is complete and is in good original condition with normal age and use wear including water staining and foxing spots, otherwise a very nice addition to any library. - (please view all photos for the best representation of quality and condition).
