Description: This listing is for one operculicarya hirsutissima, not a commonly seen species. As pictured, the tree is about 9 feet tall with a trunk about 8.5 inches in circumference near the base. I've had this tree in my possession somewhere between 15 and 20 years and it's done well in both coastal southern and central California climates. Trees will be shipped bare root or you can arrange for local pickup. Note that for reference, the ruler in the photograph is 4 feet long. You can infer the exact height of the tree from that. Check my other listings for other related trees. I have several operculicarya hirsutissima for sale and will eventually list some large operculicarya decaryi. Will combine shipping at cost. Local pickup at no charge. Contact me for any questions or to make special arrangements for delivery. The options eBay provides might not be optimal and I can be flexible. It's not clear at the moment that the shipping services eBay provides will handle this package size. Trees will be shipped bare root, wrapped in bubble wrap, and have an appropriately sized box built to accommodate them. Expect the possibility of small branches to break in the process but we'll do our best to keep everything intact. I'll keep the tree listed throughout the year. Once the weather becomes unseasonal and the tree goes dormant I'll switch shipping to local pickup only until it wakes up again in the spring at which time I'll ship again. If you have interest in the item but require shipping during the winter months (and live in a suitable climate to receive it) please contact me and we can discuss the situation.
