Description: These Timbers were salvaged from a building built in 1870 in Yonkers NY. They are floor joists, size 4x12 and 3x12, some are 25’ long. Others are 9’ long assorted sizes. Very tight grain. It came from a building in Yonkers where Norman Rockwells uncle Thomas J Hill, taught painting in 1880’s. Great for repurposing. I am pricing it at $10 a foot. For example, if you want a 10’ long 4x12 the price is calculated @ 10 feet times $10 = $100 Remember that this lumber is more than 150 years old, and showed natural cracks and splits and some have mortise notches in it as well as hand cut nails. It is NOT to be used as structural Timbers, and should be used for decorative purposes, like remilling for furniture making or art projects. The salvaged lumber will be warehoused in Eastern North Carolina just off interstate 95, and route 64, I can deliver it for a nominal charge if you are near Rt 95 between NY and NC.
