Description: This ring is odd and hard to describe. It did not want to be photographed. It is a large dark opal with smoldering embers-in- a-fire like reds and blues and blacks that go deep within the stone. If bright and bubbly is your passion, this is not your ring. Half of our pictures were taken in direct sunlight and the other half in normal to darker room light so that you can see how diverse this intriguing ring is. The expansive Opal is classified as black with deep fiery red fire. The red in the sunlight, has a very bright flash. It is the QUEEN of all ladies' rings for it stands higher on its throne with a crown-like bezel, lifted so light may pass through. The setting is sterling silver 925 with a royal and timeless scrolling design that tapers down in the back for comfort. Sometimes, when you look straight down onto the top of the ring, it is just, 'BLACK', then turn it just a bit and a red flame will flash out... the fire is deep within the opal, not on top of the stone, adding to the already unique properties of this ring. It's just weird... The opal itself measure in at 19mm (3/4") by 14mm. Size 9. Comes gift boxed along with care instructions.
