Absolutely beautiful, quality boots, the company describes them thusly: Handcrafted in Italy Who doesn't love the leg-lengthening power of a fierce pair of boots? Meet the Elena. Hand-painted and burnished, luxe leather shaft, plush shearling lining, and a rugged rubber sole, this sky-high stunner provides legs for days and comfort for miles. These boots have a 16" top opening, however the shearling interior takes up space causing these to not be a good choice for a wider calf, much to my dismay and despair, for whom a 16" top opening is my go-to in boots. My loss is your gain. One review suggests folding over the top of the boot to pull on then unfold once on. Might be useful to experiment with this. This boot is designed to be slightly slouchy. I believe the shearling interior will prevent one boot from slouching more than the other as it provides thick support to the boot shaft. The not-so-fine print (it's a good idea to read this): Returns not accepted, unless error or oversight in posting (no refunds for "doesn't fit").
