This mainshaft has SAE threads (non-metric) on the flange end and is for TR3B – early TR6 non-overdrive transmissions. The 208051 mainshafts have been unavailable as a new part for many years. This 208051 mainshaft has the original Triumph Stanpart parts sticker and has been on a warehouse shelf for many years so it has some surface rust from sitting and even though it has never been used, I am selling it as a used part. It will need a good cleaning maybe with a soft wire wheel in a couple of places. Here is an opportunity to buy essentially a new mainshaft for the same price or less than a used one.
