Description: Vintage/NOS General Motors (GM) Parts Division Steering Column Firewall Clamp Part # 3873158 This fine collection of NOS GM parts comes from the vast collection of "Pop's Garage" and features vintage car parts that have never been offered for sale on eBay. All of these rare parts and tools were purchased from a gentleman in Birmingham Alabama who had served his community for over 40 years as a mechanic, shop foreman and by doing "shade tree" work at his home for his friends and neighbors. Condition: The condition of this piece is brand new NOS as it includes the original factory GM package. The condition of the package is poor but the clamp itself is in NOS condition. The item is not to be confused with imitation pieces or reproduction parts from the after market. These parts have been stored on Pop's shelves for decades and are just now being offered to the eBay community. Description: This is an NOS GM "Steering Column Clamp". The factory label states that the part number is 3873158 from Group # 4.027. We unpacked this item from a parts bin that contained a large assortment of parts for steering columns, transmission shift levers, etc. Application: The information in the Chevrolet parts book says that this part is suitable for some of the early Chevrolet products but it likely fits a lot of other GM makes and models. Dimensions: The overall outside diameter of the unit is 2.196" and the width is .750" Quantity: One clamp per sale. This is a rare part and will hopefully help someone complete the restoration of their classic vehicle.
