Description: This is a pair of original New Old Stock GM cylinder heads for a Big Block Chevy Engine. These heads are brand new in their original boxes and have never been used or installed. The part number on each box is 6260482. The casting number on each head is 6272990. These heads are the high performance versions with rectangular intake ports and open style combustion chambers. The 6272990 head was used on the infamous LS-7 454 crate engines and was also a very popular performance head in both automotive and marine applications. What a rare find! These heads are in amazing unused condition as shown. Both heads are still in their original boxes and have never been used or installed. In fact, one of the heads was still sealed in the box and I carefully opened it to take the pictures. They simply do not get nicer than this!
