Description: Advertising Postcard of the Norwegian Caribbean Cruise Lines' SS Norway Built as an ocean liner in France in 1962, the ship held the record for being the longest ocean liner ever built, at 1,035 feet, until the Queen Mary II in 2004. The ship was sold to Norwegian Cruise Lines in 1979, at which time it was morphed into a cruise ship. Sadly, in May 2003, an explosion in the boiler room killed 8 crew members and injured several others. Two years later, it was sold for scrap. There is going to be normal wear with any old postcard such as discoloring, creases, or ink.
