Drury Theatre in Cleveland, Ohio. (The Original Broadway production opened December 25th, 1934 at the Plymouth Theatre in New York City and ran for a 229 performances.) ..... The ensemble cast included NOEL LESLIE, VIRGINIA DILLON, KIRK WILLIS, RICHARD BURDETTE, RUTH LORISH, CLARENCE KAVANAUGH, MARY FRASER, CHARLES MUECKE and BERNARD JACKSON ..... DETAILS: The 24 page playbill measures 6" X 9" inches and includes production credits, cast list, synopsis of scenes, promotional text and wonderful vintage advertising, but no cast photos or bios. Also includes the credits for the ALBERT BEIN play "THE HEAVENLY EXPRESS" (third scanned image) opening Tuesday night, November 12th, 1935. (The play would open April 18th, 1940 at the National Theatre in New York City and close after only twenty performances.) ..... CONDITION: With the exception of light creasing, this playbill is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
