Description: Up for sale we have a nice example of a No. 9 Mk. 1 bayonet, produced at the Royal Ordinance Factory in Poole, which manufactured them from 1947–1949. The Poole bayonets are the earliest documented production of the No. 9 Mk. 1 bayonet. The blade is in like new condition. The lug has normal handling wear and bears the following marks: Block Shelf - P inside a circle over 1949Right Block - G5 over P inside a circleLeft Block - 20557 The scabbard is in great condition, with only some wear showing on the brass collar.
