One line of engraving is included, with no holes and heavy duty industrial double sided tape. LARGE SOLID NICKEL SILVER PLATE - 3/4" x 4 1/2" with a .020" thickness, comes with choice of No Holes with Tape or 3/8" brads, 1/4" Phillips Head Screws ($1.95 extra), or 3/8" Phillips Head Screws ($2.95 extra) for mounting. Plates are finished with a baked-on synthetic resin, that will not tarnish or rust. They are sturdy and thick enough to create an elegant finish for your door. We rotary diamond engrave the text 5 times into the nickel silver, to create a very durable engraving, much more so than just diamond etching or laser engraving, that has a tendency to rub off. The exposed raw metal is then double acid oxidized to produce the darkened text.
