Description: This Nippon Morimura tea set is a beautiful addition to any collection. The floral pattern on the porcelain material is hand painted with vibrant colors that truly stand out. The set comes with a tea/coffee/chocolate pot and two cups with saucers. This vintage original set was manufactured in Japan during 1911-1921, this is known by the magenta nepon marking on the bottom that has the letter "M" within the branches. That "M" stands for Morimura Brothers which was the importing company using this mark since 1911. Since 1921 on porcelain markings had to include the word Japan instead of just Nippon which was the English equivalent of the Japanese word for Japan. The set is in beautiful condition with no chips or cracks and very minimal wear (see pictures) especially considering this piece is well over 100 years old.
