Description: A working Game Boy Color in an OEM shell with a matching box and instruction manual. As you can see in the pictures, the serial numbers match. The Game Boy has been cleaned inside and out, includingthe power switch and battery contactsthe volume knob and headphone jackthe buttons, the silicone membranes underneath, and the contacts on the motherboard. It has undergone a thorough set of tests to ensure that all parts of the system work as they should:The system powers on whether the DC power jack or batteries are used (power adaptor and batteries not included).The LCD is in good condition--no dead pixels or discoloration, and with good contrast.The built-in speaker and the headphone jack both work and output the correct volume.The buttons are all responsive to light presses.The link cable (not included) and the infrared port both work as intended for both sending and receiving data. This Game Boy has all OEM parts (not reproductions or replacements), except that the electrolytic capacitors have been tested and replaced with new ones if necessary. Note: Only the Game Boy, its box, and its instruction manual are included in this listing. It does not come with any batteries, accessories, or games. --- Full disclosure: I've replaced the entire motherboard, since the original motherboard was corroded beyond repair. If that matters to you, maybe this isn't the item you want to add to your collection. However, I did make sure the new motherboard exactly matches the old one in terms of its revision number (CGB-CPU-06) and its CPU's revision number (CPU CGB E). It's as close as I could get to the exact Game Boy that was sold in this box while still getting it to work again.
