Color title page in Roman letters, French language published by Belaieff, Leipzig, 1889. Plate 180, first printed page is entitled “Programme” which gives the story of the work. Music starts on page 2, with both primo and secondo pages right and left. Final sheet of music, page 91 and on the verso is an add for other piano works published by Belaieff.3. 4 hand first edition version of Rimsky Korsakov’s opera “Sadko” as a Musical Tableau op. 5, arranged by his wife, Nadezhda Nikolayevna Purgold (Rimsky-Korsakova). 2 color title page in Roman letters, French language published by Jurgenson, Moscow, 1869, plate 602. Publisher clearly states 1st version beneath the pricing on the title page. The Sadko story is capsulized on the following page after a blank page, music begins on page 4, with both primo and secondo sheets opposite one another. Final sheet of music, 31, back page blank. This was arranged and published 3 years before Nikolai married Nadezhda.4. 4 hand first edition version of Rimsky Korsakov’s 1880 fairy tale for orchestra, “Conte Féerique” op. 29, arranged by the composer. Single color title page in Roman letters, Belaieff, Leipzig, 1886, plate 19. The Conte Féerique poem is on the following page, music begins on page 4 with both primo and secondo on opposite pages. Final page of music is on page 35, with Belaieff ad on the verso of the last page with advertisements for other piano works available from the publisher including Scriabin. 5. 4 hand first edition version of Suite for Orchestra pulled from the opera “Snegourotchka” or “The Snow Maiden”, arranged by Alexis de Dreyer. 2 color title page in both Roman and Cyrillic letters, W. Bessel St. Petersburg, 1895, plate 2849. First page of music begins on page 2 with primo and secondo on opposite pages. Final page of music on page 37, back is blank. 6. 4 hand first edition version of Rimsky Korsakov’s “Capriccio Espagnol” for large orchestra, op. 34 arranged by the composer. Full color title page with a listing of all the members of the orchestra in the October 31, 1887 World Premiere under the composer, M. P. Belaieff, Leipzig, 1888, plate 99. First page of music begins on page 2 with primo and secondo on opposite pages. Final page of music on page 39 with advertisements for other published piano works by other composers on the back cover page and more Scriabin works listed.7. The final first edition score is the “Russian Sextameron” for orchestra in a 4 hand version, “Variations sur un theme russe pour Grand Orchestre”. Contributions to the work were made by, Nikolay Artsybushev (theme), Joseph Wihtol, Anatoly Liadov, Nikolai Rimsky Korsakov, Nikolai Sokolov and Alexandre Glazunov. Artysbuschev wrote the arrangement, Belaieff, Leipzig, 1903, plate 2387. Single color title page, first sheet of music begins on page 2 with alternating primo and secondo pages. The final page of music is page 27, with Belaieff piano works on the back page.This work was brought together by Artsybushev as an answer to an 1899 theme and variation work on a Russian theme in which 10 composers contributed.
