The dazzling red exterior is in good shape with only typical signs of age and use (see photos). The minor blemishes or baggage handler marks just add to the character of this classic suitcase from a by-gone era. The glossy finish of the shell is overall vibrant with nicely appointed stitching. The shiny stainless steel half-moon latches are in great shape! They function perfectly and close securely. The locks are in the open station, and there is no key. The hinges are also in great shape and swing freely. The lid holds its position properly and is centered when open or closed. The shimmering red and pink interior with ruffles is in fantastic condition without any holes, snags or discoloring. The 4 tie-down ribbons are present and ready to secure everything in place. All of the 3 inner pockets are intact with elastic edges that spring back like new! This interior color actually was a unique option for this model of suitcase (most were plain gray). Raise your surprise weekend vacay to a whole new level! Just imagine yourself in an old-time movie on a glamorous escape. . ."come fly with me. . .let's fly. . .let's fly away!"
