Description: Nice Mamiya Super 16 Model III subminiature "spy" camera, w/instructions/case The is the Super 16 Model III (1959) version of the classic Mamiya subminiature. This model has a filter drawer (no filters included) and shutter speeds up to 1/200th second. Unlike the later models, it does not have an exposure meter. Everything works smoothly on this example, but the shutter is not reliable below 1/10ths second: it will either stick open or fire at about 1/10th, even though the speed is set to 1/5th or 1/2 second (the full range is 1/200th to 1/2 second). The lens and coating appear to be in excellent condition. I notice that the lens is offset from the center of the front lens bezel (on the body of the camera) by about 1/32nd inch. This appears to be how it has been since manufacture. The leather of the case shows some wear, and the (uncommon) instructions have wear and creasing (photos 6 and 7). This camera is not part of the Argus Museum collection.Guarantee: 30-day return for any reason. Return shipping paid by the seller.
