This lovely spoon has an elegant embossed floral garland featuring acorns in relief around the upper body (unidentified pattern). Has center cartouche on each side with front cartouche having fancy engraved monogram "P". Measures 7" long. Weighs 40 grams. Marked "J.E. Caldwell & Co." and "925". The J. E. Caldwell Company was a manufacturer of high quality Sterling Silver in Philadelphia PA from 1839-1860. This nice spoon is in nice Estate condition, there are some minor surface scratches on the bowl from normal use (see photos). No other noted flaws.
