Also popular were boat rentals and sight-seeing excursions. The Pavilion continues to offer these same two activities today. The Historical Landmark, Balboa Pavilion (California Landmark #959) was originally built as a Victorian Bath House and southern terminus for the Pacific Electric Railway connecting the beach with downtown Los Angeles. It still exists today as one of the last surviving recreational pavilions in California. Vintage-looking, contemporary print on medium weight paper - NOT A POSTCARD.
