This is the last style of porcelain sign before retroreflective signage, unfortunately not in the distinct shape any longer, were introduced in 1950s. The sign is flat printed on steel, with completely accurate layout and fonts. It weighs about 5 lb. 4 oz., and is 22 by 12 inches. This sign is double-sided. The double-sided version features a complementary legend on each side: one side with the mounting holes on the left, the other side with the mounting holes on the right, so that they point in the same direction on the physical sign. If you would like a different size or route number, please do not hesitate to inquire. This is a high quality, heavy steel, non-reflective remake sign — perfect for indoor or outdoor display, and very much reminiscent of the classic porcelain appearance of the original signs. Accept no imitations that may be one-third this price, but are one-tenth the quality. No cheap tin to be found here, with the wrong fonts, layouts, size, shape, or any other manner of embarrassing imperfection.
