Yamaha recently discontinued the original tweeters and replaced these with the YK849A00, which is a direct replacement for discontinued X4228C00. Please see last two pictures showing the discontinued X4228C00.If you have one of these speakers and it sounds a bit less bright than it used to, chances are that your tweeter might have gone faulty.
