They have slots for the individual slides that help to easily align the images, when folded over and heat sealed, they offer a cheap & easy permanent solution. I think that I'm the only 3D enthusiast who has these (now) rare mounts for sale... I only know of a few others that even have any, but even at this price they are unwilling to let them go.
