This anniversary, which occurs in March of 1980, offers special recognition to the most significant publishing event of the century, indeed, of the last dispensation. This facsimile edition matches as closely as possible the paper and binding of that first edition. Because methods of making paper, binding materials, and inks have changed, and because production techniques have been greatly improved, the book cannot be an exact reproduction.
