Description: If you are a space nerd like me, you want to have space related items around you at all times. While your boss may not approve of you having a large scale model of the Mercury Atlas on your desk, you can now have a beautiful replica in your office that can actually help out with all of that paperwork! This is a Mercury Atlas Inspired working ink pen that will look great on your desk. I designed the pen from scratch, producing the artwork for the pen in a graphics program. I did my best to capture all of the beautiful detail that existed on the real rocket and spacecraft. While it may be hard to see, there is also a Mercury Capsule at the top with windows, "UNITED STATES", the US Flag, and other small details including the "Friendship 7" logo. When the artwork was complete, I then had the pens professionally made into the beautiful piece that you see in the pics. These pens are very similar to other Space Race pens, but at a fraction of the cost. This is a high quality all plastic pen, and writes beautifully! It will come in a faux velvet pen holder.
