Description: Original NASA Apollo Saturn Rocket Instrument Unit Artifact * Vintage NASA Apollo, Saturn Rocket, Instrument Unit, Telemetry Interverter, Flight Hardware * The Telemetry Flight Boxes used aboard the Saturn Rocket were critical in assessing the status of all of the components before, during and after launch from Kennedy Space Center. This interverter is part of the electronic apparatus system housed within one of the Saturn IU Telemetry Flight boxes, as can be seen in the first and second reference photo showing this artifact installed (only one interverter was designed to be used in this telemetry unit model). It was designed by the engineers at Marshall Space Flight Center for the Saturn Moon Rocket. This device contains an array of electronic components that were built to NASA "Manned Mission Rated" standards.
