NAS Illmatic Cassette Tape 1994 Rap Hip Hop USA IMPORT Insanely Rare & Sought

Description: It’s time to sell the jewel in my collection, Illmatic by Nas. Arguably the most sought after hip hop tape in existence. Fully play tested and it sounds great, the value on these keeps increasing exponentially but now I’d like to pass this on to another collector. From an Eminem interview in 2021: “When asked if any particular pieces of memorabilia that stood out, Em opened up about the Illmatic tape, which he bought for between $500 and $600. It is uncertain what the album's speculative value is at this point. "I think it’s backstock from what records stores had in the back storage,” he said. “The tapes that never sold and they just kept them. That’s the only thing I can think of. Cause nobody’s going to have a f---ing Illmatic tape and not open it.” One of the finest tapes out there and certainly our finest tape. Will be sent special. As clean as the tape is however I could tell this tape from other copies so no return scams will be successful. Oh and this is the much more scarce USA VERSION Please study pictures as there is some wear on the shell, although the j card is excellent. Sounds 10/10
