Delivered in 1927, the 4-6-4 Hudson type entered service along its namesake Hudson River and became an iconic symbol of both the NYC and fast, luxury rail travel. This sound and DCC sound-equipped model features the SoundTraxx(R) Econami(TM) sound package that includes prototypical steam sounds - all in polyphonic 16-bit sound. This 4-6-4 Hudson model also features separately applied details, fine scale driver spokes, an operating headlight and E-Z Mate(R) Mark II knuckle coupler on the rear of the tender.
