Mulhouse block printed floral fabric antique 1800s cotton linen block printed

This fabric dates to the late 1800s and was probably hand block printed by the French company Mulhouse - this material is a wonderful heavyweight cotton and linen mix (I believe there is more cotton in the fiber content). The ground tone is a beautiful warm creamy white with a vermicular pattern and the floral print is in shades of deep muted dusty pink, a softer shade of pink, a soft robin's egg blue, a beautiful sage green and a deep eggplant for the floral outlines and stems - such a pretty combination! (The up-close photos make the ground tone of this fabric look a bit whiter, but the tone is closer to the photos taken of it at a distance... more of a warm creamy white than a brighter white!) It's a durable and sturdy weight that would be perfect for upholstery, pillows, and other decorative projects!
