Foil versions of cards were not yet existent, so not until a reprinting of this card in a special set was a foil version available. This is the first printed foil version of Necropotence! Released in 2001 from the Deckmasters Garfield VS. Finkel Special Box Set! Only one of these special foil Necropotence cards was included in those special sets therefore a play set would have to originally come from four separate box sets. Then they were brought to the illustrating artist, Mark Tedin, for signatures on each one of the cards!
