This card is certified and graded by BGS as 9.5 Gem Mint. Card is graded by Beckett Grading Services (BGS) as 9.5. This is a beauty and a great looking card for collectors as well a great investment card. On the corner grade , the grade is subjective in our opinion as there no known objective measure of what an Alpha corner should look like due to the design and production process of the Alpha edition by WOTC and Cardi Mundi back in 1993. Centering 9.5 Corners 9.0 Edges 9.5 Surface 9.5 The BGS POP report for this card is not accurate. ****NOTE: A BGS 9.5 Alpha Jet Mox was sold for $65,100 on 7/26/18 in an eBay auction. MTG Alpha was and still is the shortest print run of Magic. The initial print run was 2.6 million cards and sold out quickly in 1993. The Alpha card set remains the Holy Grail for magic collectors today. Unlike succeeding sets, cards from Alpha have steeply rounded corners and other corner variations. This was reportedly caused by the dullness of the dies being used to cut the cards. In theory there can only be 1,100 complete Alpha sets. This is because that is the number of the lowest printed Alpha card. Alpha cards NM or better are getting harder and harder to find as so many cards were played or discarded in those early years.
