Description: Up for sale is the extremely rare MPC GT-40 MK. IV in 1/25 scale. A.J. Foyt and Dan Gurney drove this GT-40 to victory in the 1967 24 Hours of Le Mans. Also included is a spare set of transparencies and two sets of Indycal Decals specficically for Foyt/Gurney car. Al body parts are factory sealed. The chrome and transparencies/windscreens were not factory sealed by MPC. This kit is for the advanced modeler only.Building Tips - It is important that you strip the chrome parts when assembling this model so that parts can be successfully glued together and the stripped chromed parts can be painted successfully. Use Tamiya Extra Thin Cement when assembling this model. Tamiya Extra Thin Cement cures almost as quickly as super glue and is easier to use than super glue. Strip the chrome parts using Clorox Zero Splash Bleach Gel. Place enough Gel in a plastic cup to cover the part. Insert the part in the gel and stir intermittently. The chrome parts should strip between five and ten minutes.
