The reverse side features a Portuguese text, a reed inside cog, a bank logo, and a star-shaped monument with flags in Pra dos Hers (Square of Heroes) in Maputo. This banknote uses a solid security thread with printed MOMBIQUE and contains a watermark with a Joaquim Chissano design.
