Description: This is an antique Moroccan ceramic teapot made in the late 1800s. It's a stunning piece, an eye catcher, and great conversation starter. I've never seen a Moroccan tea pot of this size and in this style. Believed to be Alpaca silver wrapped in an armature design around the ceramic. Classic hand painted cobalt blue paint with geometric design. Every aspect of the piece is meticulously made, designed and crafted. Note: there is some minor damage to the handle at it's connection points to the rim on both sides, you can see a close up picture. Priced at $1950 The specific provenance of this piece is what makes it so special to me. I discovered this piece at a high end antique store in Brussels. The piece definitely stood out from the very European artifacts around it. During the 1960s there was a large influx of Moroccan and Islamic populations moving into Belgium. This piece was likely brought over from that time. Hello, my name is Augustus. I travel the world finding treasures, collectables, and antiques that I bring back to the states.
