MONOPOLY board game JOHN WADDINGTON - LONDON & LEEDS

Description: Offered is a vintage "Monopoly Property Trading Board Game", manufactured in Great Britain by John Waddington Ltd. This was a Christmas present to my husband and me when we lived in England in 1974-75. We've kept it as a memento and moved it many times; now it needs a new home. When I got it out to photograph it was the first time I'd opened the box in decades. Unfortunately I discovered that the rubber bands around the cards had "melted" and then dried up. The residue is hard and dry; not sticky or gummy. The Property/ Mortgaged cards have the most residue--top and bottom in the stack, plus edges. One Community Chest card has some; the rest of the Community Chest and Chance Cards almost none. There is little subtle mottling on one area of the outside of the board; it's somewhat visible in the fourth photo. The box is scuffed and dingy, but intact. There are only five playing pieces. I imagine there were originally six, but I don't know what is missing. Please use the zoom and look carefully at the pictures, and ask questions as no returns are accepted.
