Description: Up for sale is a Modded Atari 2600 6-Switch System This Atari 2600 system is in great functional condition. This sale does not include any games. The screenshots of the games that are in the pictures is for showing only (Millipede, Space Invades, Ms Pac Man, and Dig Dug will not be included). Below are the services that I have done:- Replaced the 7805 voltage regulator with a new regulator. This should prolong the power supply life.- Replaced all bad switches with new switches. All switches have been tested, and have been checked for intermittent function. All switches pass the "wiggle" test. - Cleaned the cartridge port.- Cleaned the pins on the joystick ports. Below are the modifications that I've done:- Added Composite Video and S-Video outputs. The video circuit uses a buffer, to output a clean and crisp signal. There is no ghosting on the output, and there are no visible jail bars. The original RF modulator has been removed. The Composite Video output and the S-Video output cannot be used at the same time (only one video cable can be plugged in at a time). - Composite Video and Audio ports are gold plated. Reduces intermittent connections. - Added a green power LED next to the power switch.- Added a Pause circuit and switch. You'll be able to pause your game by flipping the switch on the back of the console. There will be a junk signal on the video output, since the CPU can't command the video chip while the system is paused (best to turn the TV off, and keep the console on).- Replaced the DC power port with a 2.1mm barrel connector port. You'll be able to plug in any DC power supply with a regular 2.1mm barrel connector (positive center, 9V-12V voltage). Below is what is included with this purchase:- Atari 2600 system- DC power supply- RCA cable (gold plated) - No games included! The condition of the case is in fair condition. There could be blemishes, scratches, dings, and scrapes on the case. The case might also be dirty and might need cleaning. The plastic is very old and can be very brittle (over 40+ years old). Please be warned, that if the case is dropped, the case will most likely shatter and crack. Please review all pictures. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you're getting.
