To remedy this, I upgrade many circuit components to add richness, clarity and fidelity to the tone. The difference between my modified pedal and a stock unit is impressive! Additionally, I add a bright LED in your choice of color / brightness. I also install a three position tone switch which provides different gain clipping options. Lastly, I add a "Boss-style" 9 volt DC power jack and my popular "Dead Bat" dying 9 volt battery simulator circuit - which allows you to adjust the amount of voltage supplied to the pedal for additional tonal options! Professionally installed by me. I am meticulous in my work. I pay attention to the details - including cleaning / lubricating all jacks and pots, replacing any worn or missing battery straps, grommets and screws and fully testing every function prior to shipment.
