It is 3D printed out of high temp matte black (or metallic grey depending on selection) filament (PETG) that will withstand those hot summer days without melting or warping and matches the interior plastic very well! It is angled up and toward the driver for ease of visibility and reduced glare. This pod was designed to not need any addition mounting hardware or tape but if you wish, you can use a 1/4" bolt (3/4" long recommended) to secure the pod in place from the bottom side of the console trim.
