Description: Very nice Miraculous Medal Virgin Mary Pin. Small, gold-tone. New without tag. The pin is a portrayal the Miraculous Medal. New condition; no wear, flaws or damage. The edges are straight with no dents. Great detail for such a small item. It also is semi-3D; the Mary figure is not flat--see picture. It is a very sturdy pin; about the thickness of a US dime coin. The pin on the back is straight and has ridges to hold the clasp. The clasp fits tight and works as designed. Please note: the pin is all-gold color; any dark or white areas on it are reflection/glare from the surroundings. This pin is the depiction of the front of the Miraculous Medal of the Virgin Mary as she manifested the Medal to St. Catherine Laboure on November 27, 1830, in the motherhouse of the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul and St. Louise de Marillac, in Paris. Framing the figure was an inscription: "O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee." Then Mary spoke to Catherine: "Have a medal struck upon this model.
