Description: Minton Rose Salad Plates Pat. #A4807 & A4164 c.1873-50 England Sold In Sets of 2 About the PlatesOn offer are 8 Minton salad plates in the Rose pattern being sold in sets of 2. Each plate has a medium sized floral-fruit motif at its center. Around the outer rim of the plates is a repeating banner style motif of many different colored flowers. On the outer band of each plate there is a series of floral, geometric, decorative "swag" motifs consisting of red oval fruits and leaves. Each plate also has a red rim. The backstamp on the plates reads: "Mintons,Est.1793, A4807/A4164." The backstamp on seven of the plates dates them to the earlier period when this pattern was produced, i.e. 1873-1912, while 1 plate dates to the 1912-1950 period.There is also some minor - moderate wear of some of the red rims, but all plates are chip, crack and crazing free and are considered to be in very good vintage condition.Note: The plates are being sold in sets of two plates. Buy one set or more!Note: 7 of the plates date to the 1873-1912, and 1 plate dates to 1912-1950.
