Description: This Minox LX Black Camera is a vintage gem. I film tested it and it produced exceptional results. Its sleek black appearance is perfect for any photography enthusiast looking for a unique addition to their collection. Made in Germany, this camera is part of the LX series and has a film format of 8x11mm. It comes with **Presentation Case;**Owners Manual;**Protective Ever Ready camera case -- no tears to leather;**Close-up measuring chain;**Battery - New and all three lights and shutter mechanism work fully.**Lights - Green to show good battery condition. Red to show overexposure and need to use Neutral Density Filter. Yellow to show slow shutter speed (slower than 1/30th of a second) automatically selected and best to use a tripod or secure mount. It's easy to use on the go. Beautiful poitraits. This is the last iteration of large production Minox Models starting with the Model III, then the Model B, onto the Model C and this last one, the LX. Changes include revision to the shutter firing from a button to a 'toggle, upgraded auto exposure cell and a general style overhaul. Zero drop damage to camera. It is in beautiful shape. I ran a roll of 36 exposure ASA 100 color film through it. Frame spacing and exposure were spot on. Focusing was easy with the distance scale units marked off in feet and inches. Close up portrait photographs were amazing. The Minox lens, successor to the previous Complan lens, is a stunning Optical achievement. Film was obtained from Blue Moon camera of Portland Oregon. They enthuastically sell it. They also developed and printed it and produced top notch results. Their shop will even do enlargements upon request. Perfect for vintage camera collectors and photography enthusiaslts alike! This one is not intended to be placed on a shelf but to be actively used!!
