Above the purple logo on the right side is a button to press to open it. There are no cracks and the lid closes great. Since it is vintage it shows some use. There are scratches and scuffing on the plastic, which is mostly seen when turning it at different angles in the light. The inside of the cooler does have some marks from being used, mostly some brown spots. Comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home.
