Description: Militia Officers Sword Blade. Likely British. The blade is marked with what looks like "WAR", small "TD", "W", small "D", "CAS", and small "TD". The grip, guard, and pommel are gone. The blade looks lightly sharpened long ago, several nicks, it has age spots with light pitting scattered throughout, and has a couple little bends about 11" up from the tip. No scabbard. Length of the blade without the tang is 31 3/4" (1 3/8" wide and 5/16" thick), the tang alone is 4 13/16", and the blade overall is 36 9/16". Check out my other War Items!
