Description: These are the components to construct a recovery harness for your mid-power rocket kit. This harness goes between the Kevlar anchor cord in the rocket and your nose cone to cushion the shock of ejection and provide attachment for your parachute. This harness is reusable and can be quickly transfered between rockets so you only have to buy one for your whole fleet. Kit consists of 96 inches of flame-retardant elastic and two quick connects. Tie the elastic to the quick connects and tape the free end down with electrical tape ( not included). Then tie a loop for parachute attachment about 3 inches from the nose cone end for anchoring your chute. Once assembled, just connect to the Kevlar cord in your rocket and the nose cone, hook up your chute and you are ready to fly. Use Nomex, a baffle or wadding to protect your chute and the elastic (not included). This harness works in all our mid-power kits up to 3" diameter and 29mm motors. This is the same harness I use in all my personal rockets and I have had dozens of successful flights with this system.
